Terracotta – Head of one of the Dioscuri or Attis

 

Greece or Southern Italy, late 3rd/early 2nd century BCE

 

Light ochre-coloured ceramic clay, moulded. A terracotta head of one of the Dioscuri or Attis, wearing a high (Phrygian?) cap. Fragment. Hellenist type.
